Use After New Battery Install to test a newly installed battery in a vehicle. Where applicable, the process will also include registering the battery in the vehicle and a Reset Electronics checklist.
At any time during the test, tap
to return to the previous screen; or
to return to the Main Menu.
After New Battery Install
- Connect the charger clamps to the appropriate battery posts.
- At the Main Menu, tap After New Battery Install. The vehicle selection screen is displayed.
- Either select the vehicle you are testing on, or select Skip to manually select the battery parameters.
- Select Continue and click any electronics resets you would like to perform.
- You will then be shown steps, if applicable and available, to reset electronics for a new battery installed into the vehicle. Selecting Next will take you to the results screen.
